1970s Gianni Moscatelli Chrome Lounge Chair with Ultrasuede Upholstery

The chair displays a sleek and sinuous shaped chrome design for which Moscatelli was known. Newly re-upholstered in a chocolate brown Ultrasuede, which mimics the design of the chrome arms by curving over the back seat and the underside of the front. Gianni Moscatelli founded his own company Formanova in 1930 in Meda, the heart of Brianza, creating a line of furniture endowed with a design of pure and functional lines with highly sculptural and geometric form.

Size: 27" back h x 15" seat h x 26" wide x 29" deep
Condition: Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Newly re-upholstered in a chocolate brown Ultrasuede, which mimics the design of the chrome arms by curving over the back seat and the underside of the front.
