Jacobello Barovier was the family's first documented glass master, and Angelo Barovier developed crystalline glass in the 15th century. The Barovier family merged with the Toso family in 1936, becoming Barovier \u0026amp; Toso in 1942. Under creative director Ercole Barovier (1922–1972), the company developed techniques such as 'rostrato' and 'Rugiada'. Specializing in chandeliers, mirrors, and decorative objects for affluent clients and luxury venues, its works are exhibited in major museums globally.
