A rare asymmetrical wall mirror, designed by Max Ingrand and produced for (Galvanit Fontana) Fontana Arte, Italy, dated on reverse, March 1957. With a smoked taupe/grey asymmetrical glass frame, the floating central mirror is affixed with two brass mounts. The floating glass evokes an ethereal beauty and lightness, with its highly sculptural shape and soothing color, the design is a testament to the artisanal excellence inherent to the works of Max Ingrand; of truly masterly craftsmanship and a refinement of design.
