The beautifully carved and visually captivating scalloped apron is decorated with uniform carved openwork circular piercings, which support a large rectangular surface. The whole resting on thick, cross-shaped structural legs that flare outward slightly toward the base, combining architectural stability with elegant Neoclassic geometry for which Buffa was so well known. Th hand-carved stained oak, showcases a rich, deep-toned finish with prominent organic grain patterns across the rectangular tabletop.
