Pair of Sculptural Italian Vintage Lounge Chairs, Attributed to Gio Ponti
A very elegant pair of Italian vintage mid century modern lounge chairs; their highly sculptural shape is complemented by custom originally designed brass nail heads. Beautifully proportioned with a comfortable and wide seat, the whole is supported on ebonized wood legs ending in brass sabot. The chairs are constructed in a solid wood structure and have been completely restored in our professional studio and are newly re-upholstered in a European creamy white cotton velvet. Attributed to Gio Ponti, Italy, circa 1950
