Pair of Italian Vintage Lacquered Metal Upholstered Stools by Luigi Scremin
Pair of stools with metal and lacquered metal structure and brass sabot. Newly upholstered in Kravet cream textured fabric. Designed by Luigi Scremin (b. 1897 - 1983) Scremin was an Italian designer and furniture maker who collaborated often with Gio Ponti and Vittorio Dassi. He was renowned for his innovative furniture designs, including intricate and beautiful inlaid case pieces decorated with still life's and musical instruments incorporating exotic and rich woods. His works are rare and not seen on the market often.
